How To Help

Sixty Feet is completely dependent upon your donations. We are so grateful for those who have responded to what we are doing in Uganda by supporting us in this way. We literally could not continue without your help, so thank you. Sixty Feet US is run solely by unpaid volunteers. The money that we raise is used for the support of those helping the children in Uganda and resources necessary to provide for their needs.

Sixty Feet Inc. is a Georgia-registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

CURRENT NEEDS

Our greatest ongoing need is always Prayer. Some current prayer needs include:

• For our people on the ground in Uganda as they work daily to improve the living conditions for the children.
• For our team in the US as they travel to and from Uganda and for all the decisions that need to be made.
• The children at “M” and the 6 other facilities – for hope, safety and good health.

Here are some ways in which we are using the money that we receive and specific areas where you can help:

• Sponsor a child’s education: $30-$50/month. (To learn more about sponsoring a child, visit our Sponsorship page).
• Feed the children & staff in one facility one nutritious meal: $200
• Water system repairs in one facility: $15,000
• Capital costs for homes for children we can relocate: $80,000
• Medical supplies & immunizations for 250 children: $700/month, $8,400/year
• Building local team of Ugandan staff Ongoing
• Renovate shower and sanitary system: $5,200 Complete
• Bedding/mosquito nets for 250 children: $3,000 Complete

We are grateful for donations of all sizes towards these monumental objectives. While some of the items listed are one-time costs, most are ongoing and continually expanding as more and more children are brought in. Any amount that can be given toward our monthly recurring operational costs – even $10 per month – would go a very long way.
