As of this week there are 3 fewer orphans in Uganda!  Though it was delayed a week, the 2 children we talked about that are part of one adoption are currently in transit from Uganda.  We were praying they would be home for the holiday, we just didn’t know it was New Year’s.  They received the necessary paperwork from the Embassy today and were able to leave this evening for the U.S.  We plan to welcome them at the Atlanta airport tomorrow night around 7:30 (their flight arrives at 6:30).  We will also be welcoming the arrival of another family on Friday evening (same time) with another precious child.

If you are able, we would love to have others join us in celebrating these pictures of redemption.

UPDATE:  Please be advised that the flight today (December 30) appears to be early (now scheduled to arrive at 5pm) so we will be meeting at the airport around 6pm.   Email us at if you need further details.
