We are asking those of you that follow us through our blog to please be in prayer over the coming week for Sixty Feet. On Monday we are sending our 4th team this year to Kampala. God has tremendously blessed the ministry, and our hope and prayer is that He will guide us along the path He has laid for us, and that He will continue to multiply and prosper our efforts through the relationships He has established. We pray not only for logistical issues for the team, but for discernment as we seek to support the children at “M” while simultaneously working to develop a home where we can remove the most vulnerable children.
We are also working to build our presence on the ground in Uganda and pray for those faithful men and women whom Christ has brought to us. We are amazed at the faith of those who are committed to serving the oppressed and the orphan at great cost to them and their family. May God continue to bless them and glorify the name of Jesus through them. And may we remain faithful to the calling we have received.
In addition, we have 4 encore viewings of Bereaved in the next week alone and we are praying that God will use this tool to open hearts and minds to His work taking place in Uganda on behalf of the children. Please join us in praying that the film will prompt many to give generously, pray continually and act intentionally to better the lives of the children and ultimately lead them to an understanding of God and his gift to us, His son Jesus Christ.
“Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.” 1 Cor. 15:58
