My heart is bursting, my body is weeping and I’m shaking uncontrollably as I soak in the eyes of these precious children. So much pain, so little hope and an almost complete absence of love. Only the love of our truest Father can heal these broken hearts, so I am begging Father on your behalf to overwhelm these little ones with His love through the effect of your lives! Amazing…

Heavenly Father, I pray you will continue to bless Michael and Dan on this trip. Keep opening doors for them Lord. Holy Spirit, consume them with your amazing love, wisdom and hope. Give them strength and courage. Jesus, I ask that you would continue to bless them with the ability to serve as your hands feet, to live out your calling to us to love and serve the orphans. I pray that the light of Jesus Christ, the risen son of God, our savior and redeemer, our one true hope and the giver of eternal life will radiate from Michael, Dan, Betsy, Natalie and everyone from Sixty Feet in all that they are doing to serve you Father. Lord Jesus I pray for these children, your children, that they will see the hope that rests in life with you. I pray you will help us to unite together as your body to address their physical needs, to serve them, to love them and to help them, and I pray that you will not allow us to lose sight of YOU in our efforts. I pray for protection, discernment for all who are at Mukisa and I pray that today, right now, in this moment Lord, you will move in ways that we can not continue to fathom or imagine. I pray that you will be who you are, the God of the universe, and that in your infinite wisdom, you will direct our steps and guide us. May it all be done in your name and for your glory. Amen

Longing for the day when all things will be made new. Thankful for your efforts. Praying that the presence and healing of Jesus would be brought to a hurting and dark place.

Almighty God, who created us in your image: Grant us
grace fearlessly to contend against evil and to make no peace with oppression; and, that we may reverently use our freedom, help us to employ it in the maintenance of justice in our communities and among the nations, to the glory of your holy Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Just heard about this heartbreaking situation. Went to bed praying for them last night. So thankful you all are there to give a voice to these children.
